What Are Session Logs?

At TopListLab, we refer to cookies and browser local storage collectively as "session logs." These are small pieces of data stored on your device that help the lab remember your preferences and maintain your virtual credit balance between visits. They are essential for the platform to function correctly.

Types of Session Logs We Use

We categorise the data stored on your device as follows:

• Essential — Age Verification (toplistlab_age_verified): Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older. Without this, the age gate would appear on every visit. Stored in localStorage until cleared.
• Essential — Cookie Consent (toplistlab_cookie_consent): Records your acceptance of this Cookie Policy. Stored in localStorage until cleared.
• Functional — Lab Credits (toplistlab_credits): Stores your virtual credit balance across all games. Stored in localStorage until cleared.
• Functional — Daily Bonus (toplistlab_daily_bonus): Tracks your 7-day login reward cycle and last claim date. Stored in localStorage until cleared.
• Functional — Bet History (toplistlab_bet_history_*): Per-game session logs of wagers and outcomes. Stored in localStorage until cleared.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics), social media pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies of any kind.

Why We Use Session Logs

Session logs are necessary because TopListLab operates without user accounts. Instead of storing your preferences on a server tied to a login, we write them directly to your browser. This approach maximises privacy — we never receive your gameplay data — while still allowing the platform to remember your age confirmation, credit balance and bonus progress between visits.

Duration of Storage

All session logs are persistent localStorage entries. They remain on your device indefinitely until you manually clear them through browser settings or use private/incognito browsing mode (which clears data when the session ends). We do not set automatic expiry dates on local storage entries.

Managing Your Session Logs

You can adjust or delete session logs at any time through your browser settings:

• Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data → Cookies and other site data
• Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data
• Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove toplistlab.com
• Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Choose what to clear

Clearing session logs will reset your age confirmation, cookie consent, virtual credit balance (restored to 1,000 on next game visit), daily bonus progress and bet history. You will need to re-confirm your age on your next visit.

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because we do not use third-party tracking cookies, DNT signals do not change our data practices. Essential session logs will still be stored locally to operate the platform.

Third-Party Links

Our site contains links to external support organisations (such as BeGambleAware and GamCare). These third-party sites have their own cookie and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review before interacting with their services.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new features that require additional local storage keys. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
