What We Collect

TopListLab is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require user accounts or registration. The following data may be stored locally in your browser via localStorage and essential session logs:

  • Cookie consent preference — records your acceptance of session logs
  • Virtual lab credit balance — shared across all games on the platform
  • Game session data — bet history, daily bonus progress, and in-game state
  • Newsletter email — only if you voluntarily subscribe via our form (processed locally in demo; production would use secure server storage)

When you submit our contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, social media pixels or cross-site profiling cookies. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not require payment information because our platform is entirely free with no real-money transactions. How Local Storage Works

All gameplay data — including your credit balance, bet history and daily bonus streak — is written to your device's localStorage. This means the data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly submit a contact form. Clearing your browser data will reset all locally stored preferences and game progress. We cannot recover this data on your behalf because we do not maintain server-side copies.

Legal Basis for Processing

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we rely on:

  • Consent — for cookie/session log storage and age verification
  • Legitimate interest — to respond to contact form enquiries and maintain platform security
  • Contractual necessity — to provide the free entertainment service you request by visiting our site

Data Retention

Browser-stored data persists until you clear your browser's local storage or cookies. Children's Privacy

TopListLab is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has accessed our platform, please contact us immediately.

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption across the entire site. Our codebase is regularly reviewed for security best practices. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your browser updated and use device-level security features.
